Promotion and Tenure and Third Year Review
The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty reviews policies and processes related to promotion and tenure at University of Idaho. Promotion and tenure dossiers are submitted for consideration each fall and notifications are given in the spring.
Each year, the Vice Provost for Faculty hosts professional development sessions on preparing third-year review and promotion and tenure materials. A session is held early each fall for administrators and administrative staff responsible for stewarding the process in their units or colleges.
