MOSCOW, Idaho- The following is a list of University of Idaho sponsored events for the week of Sept. 23-29. Events will take place in Moscow and are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

Nerd Tuesdays
7-9 p.m.

Nerd Tuesdays invites anyone who loves pop culture, has one or more fandoms, and loves to talk about nerdy stuff for an evening of board games, TV, movies and other things nerdy each Tuesday evening. This event is free and open to the public.

Alexander Dunn Classical Guitar Concert
7:30-9:30 p.m.
Lionel Hampton Music building, Haddock Performance Hall
1010 Blake Ave. in Moscow
Come enjoy a guitar concert by Alexander Dunn. Tickets are only available at the door, and cost $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Wednesday, Sept. 25
The Contenders Concert Performing Classic ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s Rock

Come enjoy a guitar concert by The Contenders, who will be performing classic ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s rock music. Tickets are only available at the door, and cost $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Vandal Volleyball vs. Utah Valley

Come cheer on the Vandal volleyball team as they take on Utah Valley.

Take a break and enjoy a free lunch. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and talk about current events. Enjoy a free peanut butter and jelly sandwich lunch. This event is free and open to the public.

Friday, Sept. 27
Vandal Soccer vs. New Mexico State
4-6 p.m.

Come cheer on the Vandal women’s soccer team as they take on New Mexico State.

Homecoming Serpentine
8-8:30 p.m.
University of Idaho Bookstore
710 Deakin Ave. in Moscow
Led by the Sound of Idaho Vandal Marching Band, this traditional serpentine snakes along Old Greek and new Greek rows, past the VandalStore, along Sixth Street, through residence halls and up to the Kibbie Dome parking lot. Serpentine participants will arrive just in time to attend the bonfire rally.

Enjoy Moscow’s only fireworks show of the year. Fireworks are best viewed from the bonfire rally location.

Tower Light Show

Enjoy a LED lightshow on the Theophilus Tower lawn presented by the UI Association of Computing Machinery.

Celebrate Homecoming and come cheer on the Vandal football team as they take on Temple University. Tickets can be purchased online through the University of Idaho Ticket Office or by phone at (208) 885-6466.
