Mika to Receive 2013 Idaho Leadership in Career Development Award

University of Idaho recent retiree Cynthia Mika (career development specialist, Career Center) will be the first recipient of the University of Idaho Leadership in Career Development Award.
Mika worked for the University of Idaho for over 30 years.
The 2013 recipients will receive their awards from Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter during a proclamation signing ceremony and awards presentation on Friday, Nov. 15 in Boise.
Each year the Idaho Career Information System at the Idaho Department of Labor and the Idaho Career Development Association recognize exceptional leadership in career development throughout the state. The goals of the Leadership in Career Development Awards are to bring recognition to the organizations and people that contribute and bring attention to the importance education and career choices play in people’s lives.
