Librarian's Work Featured in Science Mapping Exhibit and Wired.com

Devin Becker, the Digital Initiatives and Scholarly Communications Librarian, recently had his visualization "Seeing Standards: A Visualization of the Metadata Universe" accepted for inclusion in the 7th iteration of the Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit scimaps.org/.), a traveling exhibit that will show internationally next year. The visualization was featured on Wired Magazine's Science blog, along with other winning designs, in a gallery entitled "Data as Art: Striking Science Maps": www.wired.com/wiredscience/2011/03/best-science-maps/?pid=1049.
