Nancy Krogh, university registrar, will be leaving the University of Idaho March 14, 2014. She has accepted a position with CedarCrestone as a senior consultant on their change management team. She started at the University of Idaho in October 2005 as university registrar. Previously she served as registrar and institutional research at the University of North Dakota and Rocky Mountain College.
“Nancy’s leadership for the past nine years in this critical role for the university has been stellar. Her professionalism and integrity is second to none. I’ve sincerely appreciated her service,” said Jeffrey A. Dodge, interim assistant vice president for Enrollment Management.
Heather Chermak, who currently serves as senior associate registrar, will serve as Interim registrar beginning March 16, 2014.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Heather’s experience and knowledge of university academic programs to step in right away,” Dodge said.
Prior to joining the University of Idaho in 2008 as senior associate registrar, Heather began her higher education career at Oregon State University as assistant registrar. Before transitioning to a higher education career, Heather managed a trading desk for a national brokerage firm in Chicago, Ill.
The Registrar’s Office provides student and faculty academic services related to course registration, classrooms, academic records, catalog, and reports. A nationwide search for a new, permanent registrar will begin soon.
