Implementation and Training for Cayuse424
Wednesday, April 7 2010 at 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM
OSP is pleased to announce that as of Monday, April 5, 2010, a new system-to-system proposal submission program called Cayuse424 will officially be in production and available to all faculty and staff who submit proposals via Grants.gov.
Some highlights of Cayuse424:
• Cayuse424 allows staff and faculty to build a proposal file for Grants.gov submissions and track errors and warnings in real time
• Cayuse424 can store CV’s, biosketches and personal information so that these forms are not re-filled out for every submission
• Cayuse424 is integrated into the University’s Electronic Internal Proposal Routing System (EIPRS), thereby reducing the amount of data entry redundancies
• Cayuse424 allows for auto-fill institutional information and stores the University’s DUNS number, EIN, address and contact information
So far, faculty and staff who have used Cayuse424 have found that it dramatically reduces administrative burden while increasing the likelihood of submitting an error-free proposal.
OSP will be offering short overview training sessions on the many features of Cayuse424 during the week of April 5.
Trainings will be offered on:
Wednesday April 7 from 9-9:30 a.m. via Webinar (email firstname.lastname@example.org for registration information)
Thursday April 8 from 11-11:30 a.m. in the Commons Crest Room
