Artist Lecture: Kasey Keeler

Artist Kasey Keeler of Spokane, Wash., will present an artist lecture on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 5:30 p.m., at the University of Idaho Teaching and Learning Center, Room 040, 875 S. Line St. in Moscow.

The lecture is a prelude to the new exhibit "Up On The Wall, 6 Painters From The West," a collection of works that uses contemporary trends in painting and different approaches to the painted surface. The exhibit will be on view at the University of Idaho's Prichard Art Gallery Oct. 16 - Dec. 5.

Other artists featured in the exhibit include: Squeak Carnwath of Oakland, Calif.; Roll Hardy of Portland, Ore.; Travis Ivey of Laramie, Wyo.; Mary Josephson of Portland, Ore.; and Washington State University graduate Michael Schultheis of Seattle, Wash.

The Prichard Art Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Gallery is closed Monday. The gallery, an outreach facility of the University of Idaho, is located at 414/416 S. Main St. on the corner of Fifth and Main streets in downtown Moscow. Admission is free.
