Joseph Jordan Water Resources Scholarship

Idaho Water Resources Research Institute and the Lake Social Ecological Systems Lab are pleased to announce the request for applications for the 2018 Joseph Jordan Water Resource Scholarship. The scholarship provides $5,000 of financial support to an enrolled University of Idaho graduate or undergraduate student that has completed at least their junior year and is interested in an internship to gain experience in the field of water resources. The eight to 10 week directed summer internship is intended to give students an opportunity to work with a state, federal or tribal agency, a non-profit organization or a private entity engaged in water resource management and research that matches the successful applicant's interests.
To be eligible, applicants MUST:
- Be enrolled in a water resources related degree program at the University of Idaho
- Be a resident of Idaho
- Be a senior or graduate student at the beginning of the summer internship
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. PST, Nov. 28, 2017, and the successful will be announced by Dec. 15, 2017. Application information can be found on the IWRRI website under Current News, or contact Dr. Alan Kolok, email@example.com.
