UI-Dance Performance Audition Aug. 25

August 16, 2017

The UI-Dance Program is hosting a performance audition for our annual fall concert featuring faculty and guest artist work. Don't miss out on the opportunity to work with esteemed artists in a pre-professional setting.

Auditions are at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, in the Physical Education Building (PEB), Studio 110. Arrive early to check in and warm-up. Be sure to bring your semester schedule in order to get cast. Come dressed in dance attire and ready to move.

All dance majors and minors are invited. Non-dance majors/minors are welcome to come audition if they have previous training and skills in ballet, modern and improvisation.

All dancers must be UI students and able to register for DAN 410 credit. You can select how many pieces you are willing to commit your time to during the semester (1 credit per piece, max 3 credits). Being a part of this concert is a MAJOR commitment. Students are not allowed to have conflicts that interfere with any of tech time starting Sunday, Oct 29 through Wednesday, Nov 4. Concert is slated Nov. 2-5. Other class conflicts will be officially excused by the program.
