$500,000 USDA Grant Is Awarded to Lorie Higgins

Lorie Higgins is the recipient of a $500,000 three-year grant from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture/USDA. Lorie’s project is “Building and Sustaining Community Connections During and After Disasters: Rapid Response and Recovery Community Assessment Programs.” The project seeks to assist rural communities in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana with recovery from impacts of the pandemic in the area of community economic development.
