U of I Faculty Members Investigate the Future of Educational Spaces in the Era of COVID-19

Elizabeth Wargo in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences recently published a conceptual article titled, “Intertwined Higher Education Places and Spaces,” in Journal for the Study of Postsecondary Education. Drawing on U.S. higher education's rapid transition to online education in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, dichotomous thinking about education space is investigated by examining how the physical is intertwined with the digital.
