April 01, 2020
Mariah Soriano, Kevin Brzezicki and Claire Trout earned top honors for designs they submitted to the 50th Edition of the Idaho Concrete Masonry Association-sponsored Architectural Design Competition last month. Students were tasked with conceptualizing the design of a new Airport Terminal for the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport. The competition required the use of concrete masonry in the building. Fifty-two students participated in the competition, which was a celebration of design and creativity. It was the largest participation to date. Thirteen finalists were judged, and Soriano was awarded first place.
