Jamaica Ritcher Named Inaugural Honors Program Faculty Fellow

Jamaica Ritcher, instructor in the Department of English and director of the Writing Center, has been named the inaugural Honors Program faculty fellow for Spring and Fall semesters 2021. The purpose of this new professional development program for U of I faculty, which mirrors national best practices in honors education, is to engage more honors students in high impacts practices, such as scholarship, research and creative activities, assist the program with faculty development as well as student recruitment and retention.
