U of I Water Scientists Analyze Columbia River Basin Climate Change Research
December 02, 2020
A team of interdisciplinary water researchers at U of I mapped and analyzed climate change research in the Columbia River Basin headwaters. They found past research has focused on impacts more than adaptation or mitigation, with greater concentrations of research in the United States than Canada. They suggest future international collaborations should focus on adaptation and mitigation to co-produce actionable science and effective responses to climate change.
