Henrich Named Associate Dean of Libraries

Kristin Henrich has been appointed as the associate dean of libraries, effective July 15, 2019. Within the libraries, Henrich has most recently served as interim associate dean and will continue in her current roles as head of user and research services and liaison to the College of Art and Architecture.
Henrich joined the U of I Libraries in 2008 as an assistant professor and reference and instruction librarian. She has published on emerging technologies, visual literacy and strategic library partnerships. Part of the 2012 American Library Association’s Emerging Leaders class, Henrich is also one of Athena’s 2019 Women of the Year and a graduate of Harvard’s Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. Henrich holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University, a Master of Library Science from Indiana University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in education at U of I.
