Trumpet Ensemble to Perform at International Conference

Based on a successful audition, the University of Idaho Trumpet Ensemble was invited to perform at the 2018 International Trumpet Guild Conference, held in San Antonio, Texas on May 29 – June 2. Seven students from the Lionel Hampton School of Music, part of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, were invited to this premier conference with nearly 3,000 professional and student attendees. The U of I Trumpet Ensemble will open a recital by European trumpet virtuoso Philippe Litzler on May 31 at 10:45 a.m. Watch a portion of the ensemble's audition at https://youtu.be/FZFxD-Q8fx8.
