IWRRI Announces First Jordan Scholar Recipient
May 11, 2018
The Idaho Water Resources Research Institute (IWRRI) is proud to announce Kyle Duckett as the inaugural recipient of the Joseph Jordan Water Resource Scholarship. Duckett is a master's student in the Department of Geology. He will receive $5,000 in tuition support and a 10-week summer internship with Idaho Power Company to gain experience in the field of water resources.
"Kyle's strong academic background and demonstrated interest in the sustainability of Idaho's water resources made him an ideal choice for our first Jordan Scholar," said Alan Kolok, director of IWRRI. The scholarship was established by the late Joe Jordan to support the career development of U of I water resource students.
