ORED Welcomes U of I's New Attending Veterinarian

October 19, 2018

The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) welcomes Dr. Steven Russell as U of I's new attending veterinarian. He has recently served in a similar capacity at Washington State University. Dr. Russell is responsible for oversight of veterinary care for all animals used in research, testing, teaching and outreach across all locations at the University of Idaho. He also shares responsibility with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee for the health and welfare of university-owned animals, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies regarding animal research. In addition, Dr. Russell will oversee management of the Laboratory Animal Research Facility (LARF). Please join us in welcoming Steve to our Vandal family.
