Community Outreach Coordinator Nations Upward Bound, TRIO

Nations Upward Bound at the University of Idaho is hiring for a Community Outreach Coordinator. The Outreach Coordinator provides services to assist disadvantaged youth and young adults in completing their secondary schooling and enrolling in programs of post-secondary education. Major responsibilities include: Promotion of services to target community; recruitment of new students, organizing and implementing the academic year and summer programs; assisting students with problems in academic and non-academic areas (advising); aiding in admissions and financial aid applications; and documenting and evaluating project services. The Outreach Coordinator will work with the communities of Plummer and Potlatch, Idaho. Offices for this position will be located in both Lakeside and Potlatch High Schools.
