Faculty Compensation System Open Forums Next Week

April 08, 2019

A market-based compensation system is currently used to help inform faculty salary changes. This salary model was developed by a faculty task force and implemented last year. The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President will sponsor two open this week to further explain the model and share recent improvements. The session are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11. Both sessions are in the Administration Building Auditorium..

The session leaders will also showcase a new tool in VandalWeb during the forums that allows employees to view market salary and target salary calculations. Each session will begin with a presentation, with ample time for questions.

A FAQ document has been developed to answer many of the questions about this process. Review the FAQ document prior to the forums.

Both sessions will be in the Administration Building Auditorium in Moscow as well as available via Zoom. We will use the chat feature to receive remote participant questions. Sessions will be recorded and posted on the provost’s website by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 15.
