Administration Building Front Stairs Closed for Finishing Work
May 14, 2018
As of Monday, May 14, the Administration Building's main entrance is closed to traffic as the Idaho Division of Public Works and University of Idaho Facilities crew make adjustments to the newly installed glass panels on the historic staircase.
This work will require that the entrance remain closed into August. The goal is for this final work to be completed and the entrance and stairs reopened prior to the start of fall semester. Access to the second and third floor of the Administration Building remains in the north and south wings.
The glass panels increase the safety of the staircase while offering a limited visual interruption of the beautiful Admin foyer. We thank you for your patiences as we make final adjustments to this project.
