New Associate Deans Named in CLASS

March 09, 2017

The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) has hired two new associate deans as part of its leadership team. Mark Warner was named the associate dean for graduate studies and Diane Kelly-Riley was named the associate dean for research.

"Diane and Mark have already shown themselves to be great leaders and colleagues in the college," said CLASS Dean Andrew Kersten. "I am grateful that they have decided to become associate deans. They each bring many talents that will advance CLASS's strategic vision and goals. Working as a team, they will expand research opportunities, as well as grow our graduate programs. I am very excited to be able to work with them in these capacities."

Both associate dean positions began on Feb. 1, 2017 and are 50 percent appointments, allowing Warner and Kelly-Riley to continue their teaching and research within their departments. Read more.
