Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Applications Open

Postdoctoral researchers are invited to apply to the Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program, which offers scientists and engineers unique opportunities to conduct research in a wide range of topics relevant to the intelligence community. Eligible postdocs must be U.S. citizens and have received their Ph.D. within five years of the deadline.

The fellowship program, sponsored by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), provides annual stipends of $75,000 to $79,000, depending on location, plus an annual travel budget of up to $6,000. Appointments are for two years with an option to extend for a third year. Host institutions receive an annual laboratory budget of up to $5,000, and research advisors receive a $10,000 stipend and a travel budget of up to $2,000.

Postdocs must work with a research advisor and collaborate with an advisor from the intelligence community. Technical proposals are due March 31, 2017. To learn more and to apply, visit
