Seed Grant Proposals Due in February

November 17, 2016

Proposals for UI's Seed Grant program are due Feb 15, 2017. The Seed Grant program is sponsored by Office of Research and Economic Development and aims to promote research, outreach and creative activities in all branches of learning that will improve competitiveness for external funding, and/or which will result in publications, patents, recognition, awards or exhibitions/performances appropriate to the principal investigator's discipline.

The primary purpose of the program is to support early career faculty (those who have been at UI five years or fewer or are still assistant professors) establishing a scholarly program. Proposals that support a change in direction for established investigators will also be considered, but must be well-justified.
