Why Idaho?
U of I has the best “bang for your buck.” Tuition is lower than many other law schools, yet the education received is still top-notch. The Boise campus fosters community both within the law school and the surrounding area with a student body that is extremely supportive of each other, and the required pro bono hours and clinics offered serve the community well. The business law emphasis, specifically focused on IP, was also a major reason why I chose U of I.
What advice would you offer to incoming 1Ls?
The work that you put into the law school experience is what you will get out. As a graduate program, each student is accountable for their education and it’s up to the student to achieve their own success.
Favorite Boise recommendation?
Boise has a myriad of wineries and tasting rooms around the Valley – it’s never a bad time to visit and un-wine-d when taking a break from schoolwork.
