2016 Idaho Law Review Symposium
Equality in Employment
Friday, April 1, 2016
Idaho Law & Justice Learning Center, Boise, Idaho
Keynote Speaker: The Honorable Candy Dale, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Idaho
The field of employment law is evolving rapidly. Recently, seismic social and economic shifts relating to gender roles, sexual orientation, and ideas of fair compensation have dramatically impacted the expectations, roles, and legal relationships among employers and employees.
The 2016 Symposium will explore the varied ways that the field of employment law has adapted to these changes, and will discuss potential for further adaptive change moving forward. The Symposium will feature four panel discussions on the topics of pregnancy discrimination, LGBT rights, equal pay, and exploitative labor practices. These panels will include experts within each field from law and academia.
