Professor Macfarlane Presented Her Paper “Disability Without Documentation” at AALS
January 11, 2021
On January 8, Professor Katherine Macfarlane presented her paper “Disability Without Documentation” at the Association of American Law Schools’ annual meeting. She joined a panel discussion addressing how the pandemic impacts people with disabilities. Professor Macfarlane’s research examines how onerous medical verification requirements betray the ADA’s purpose, and jeopardize high-risk employees’ ability to obtain work-from-home accommodations.
Professor Macfarlane now chairs the AALS Section on Disability Law.
