Installing Office for Mac

Students and Employees of the University of Idaho are provided Microsoft Office Pro Plus at no extra cost as part of their Office 365 email account. This tutorial will assist you in downloading and installing Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac through your university email.
Navigate and log into portal.office.com. Click on the Install Office 2016 button to begin the install process.
Office 365 will download the install package for Office 2016.
Choose to “Keep” the installer package once it is finished downloading.
Follow the steps to install Office 2016 on your machine.
Enter your machines admin password to begin the installation.
After the install has finished office 2016 for MAC will be available on your machine.
