Sheet Metal Fatigue Fixture
Project Description
Fatigue Testing Device to Evaluate Sheet Metal Components — The methodology for testing the performance the long-term durability of sheet metal components is not readily available. The goal of our project is to design a low-cost system for measuring the useful life of sheet metal samples under various conditions. The team has designed and built a fully operational system enabling repeatable measurement of fatigue properties of sheet metal samples up to six inches in size.
