Engineering Ambassadors Application

The College of Engineering Ambassadors are a select group of students representing all departments within our college. The Engineering Ambassadors are a vital constituent in assisting the college in recruitment and retention of highly qualified students. The selection process is competitive.

The ambassadors work closely with the Engineering Student Services team and have the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, exercise professionalism, network with professionals and establish working relations with college and university faculty, students, staff and administrators across the University of Idaho. Ambassadors participate in recruitment and promotional activities, as well as alumni events. At time, travel (at the expense of the college) is required.

Serving as a Engineering Ambassador is both an honor and a distinction. Being a Engineering Ambassador requires a substantial time commitment. Due to the amount of resources invested in training and supporting ambassadors, there is a one year of service commitment required to the Engineering Ambassador program.
