Canvas

Canvas is online software the University of Idaho uses as an interactive learning experience with virtual classrooms and online conferencing offering new approaches to learning.

Center of Disabilities & Human Development (CDHD)

CDHD is the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) associated with the University of Idaho. There are 67 throughout the United Sates and its territories. CDHD reflects the character of its host institution and home state. However, all UCEDDs strive - through education, outreach, research and service - to accomplish a shared vision in which all Americans, including Americans with disabilities, participate fully in their communities.

Doceo Center

The Doceo Center for Innovation + Learning leads teaching innovation and technology integration initiatives at the university and in K-12 schools in Idaho. The Doceo Center does this by supporting, teaching, modeling and researching technology integration practices among teacher education candidates, school administration candidates, early career teachers, practicing teachers and administrators, faculty members and K-12 school districts.

Gary Strong Curriculum Center

The Gary Strong Curriculum Center is the curriculum resource library for the University of Idaho's College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The Curriculum Center is located in the Education building, third floor.

Pre-Health Professions Program

The Pre-Health Professions Program at the University of Idaho serves as a resource for current students and alumni from all majors who are interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. This program assists students with prerequisite course sequencing, obtaining necessary clinical and shadowing experience, preparing to take professional school entrance exams, and guidance with the application and interview process.

Student Services

College of Education, Health and Human Sciences students planning to teach in early childhood through 12th grades require preparation through the Teacher Education Program. This program provides students with numerous opportunities for hands-on experience through service learning and partnerships with local schools. 

Task Stream

The TaskStream system provides students with a Direct Response Folio where students will be required to respond to and submit signature assignments associated with teacher education courses. This information is used by the various programs to monitor student progress and aggregated data is used for program improvement and revision.
