Generalized  research focus among Leadership and Counseling faculty pursued  through teaching scholarships ( incorporating  new findings and practices into courses) academic research (preparing,presenting and publishing new findings in conference venues, practitioner journals and peer reviewed journals), outreach research (applying and learning current and new research among stakeholders) and service research (providing leadership to department, college and university through committee participation and leadership)
