University of Idaho Presents Country Artist: Rodney Atkins with special guest Lucas Hoge
Bring a blanket or your favorite lawn chair for a family-friendly concert to kick-off the fall semester. Country music recording artist, and six time Academy of Country Music nominee, Rodney Atkins plays at the University of Idaho with hits “Farmer’s Daughter”, “If You’re Going Through Hell”, and new releases “Take a backroad” along with one of summer's hottest songs “Caught Up in the Country.”
Singer-songwriter Lucas Hoge, whose 2017 album “Dirty South” reached the top of the Billboard Top Country Music Album chart, will serve as the opening act for the performance, set for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 on the U of I SprinTurf field next to the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center.
General admission tickets cost $15 for public, and are free for U of I students with valid Vandalcard. Purchase tickets through the University of Idaho Ticket Office. Tickets also will be sold onsite, day of, at the east end of the Kibbie Dome from 5-9 p.m.
This is event is sponsored by University of Idaho’s Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and Vandal Entertainment Board in association with University Events and Support Services, and Bull Country KZZL.

U of I SprinTurf Practice Field is located at the east end of the ASUI Kibbie Activity Center. General Parking is in the Kibbie Dome parking lot on the west side of the facility. A lighted walking path leads directly to the venue. ADA parking is available.
