UI Swim Center
Open pool sessions are a chance for kayakers of all experience levels to work on skills in the safety of the pool. If you're a beginner, this is a great way to get comfortable in a boat and work on basic strokes. For intermediate or advanced paddlers, the pool is a great place to master your roll, play with different types of boats and strengthen core muscles for next season.
Cost: $5 (pay at pool) 7-10 p.m.

This clinic will teach you basic paddling strokes, braces, Eskimo roll and boat fitting.

Clearwater River, Idaho
This course includes two pool sessions with instruction and a day on the river learning the basics of whitewater kayaking. This course will teach you basic paddling strokes, braces, Eskimo rolls and boat fitting.
Cost: $100 includes transportation, equipment and instruction; $65 with own equipment

Come enjoy a whitewater rafting trip on the Potlatch River at the peak of it's excitement.

Potlatch River, IdahoThis certification course is designed to teach whitewater rescue techniques in a wilderness setting for recreational boaters or anyone finding themselves working on or near moving water. Participants will gain valuable techniques in dealing with water hazards and emergencies with limited resources.
Cost: $295 includes transportation, equipment and SRT certification.

Enjoy the beauty of the Oregon Coast with this three-day surfing trip.
