Society of Ecological Restoration
The Society for Ecological Restoration UI Chapter is an association of the Society for Ecological Restoration, dedicated to the science and practice of ecological restoration. We are a service-oriented club that performs litter cleanups, hosts guest speakers, and is looking to manage small scale restoration projects on the Palouse. We also network with local restoration practitioners and landowners to provide volunteer opportunities and industry connections for students. Members have access to SER's journal, Ecological Restoration, as well as monthly newsletters, and a discounted rate on SER's Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner program.
We welcome any students who are interested in making a practical difference, working in the field, and hands-on-learning.
