Megan Rich is a recent graduate of the Piano Performance and Pedagogy program at the University of Idaho. She has extensive experience at the university teaching Piano Class and individual lessons, as well as accompanying for instrumental soloists, vocalists, and the UI Vandaleers. She also competes frequently in various piano competitions and adjudications.
Megan is an active member of the Moscow Chapter of MTNA, and is a frequent presenter at state and national pedagogy conferences. Her academic emphasis in the Kodály Method provides a unique perspective on learning modalities and effective teaching methods. She is certified through the Kodály Levels Program of Seattle, and uses the research of Kodály-inspired teachers to present concepts through kinesthetic learning strategies, which are especially helpful for young students.
