Adam Brenner
Adam Brenner joined the Lionel Hampton Orchestra in July of 1982 shortly after receiving his B.A. from Rutgers University/Livingston College
Adam performed with the band from late summer of 1982 through the early summer of 1987, and again doing a tour of Europe in 1993.
Adam would perform a number of times since and was with the Hampton band for the last concert of Lionel Hampton’s career in 2002 in Moscow, Idaho for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
Adam has performed and recorded with some of the greatest jazz legends of all time including George Coleman, Dizzy Gillespie, Milt Jackson, Benny Golson, Frank Foster, Junior Cook, Slam Stewart, Billy Higgins, Philly Joe Jones, Lou Donaldson, Mel Torme, Phil Woods, Jamil Nasser, Etta Jones, Vernel Fournier, Benny Powell, Charles Davis, Walter Davis Jr., Slide Hampton, Eddie Gladden and many others.
