Write, Shoot, Produce

Film & Television prepares students for a variety of careers in cinema, television and video. The degree blends video production coursework with screenwriting and critical studies, allowing students to build their own areas of specialization.

Fast Facts

Students in the Film & Television program work closely with faculty to:

  • Use professional media technologies, from our high-definition television studio to our digital video and audio editing bays.
  • Study the history and theory of narrative film and television.
  • Learn screenwriting and story development.
  • Produce and direct creative projects, which can be showcased at our annual Kino Short Film Festival.
