AsiaPOP! Manga Art Contest
The Habib Institute of Asian Studies (HIAS) is hosting two manga contests — one for high school and one for college students. Below are PDF submission forms for students to print and use when submitting their work and posters for advertising the event.
All submitted work will be on display, either physically or digitally, at the University of Idaho, from Aug. 18 - Sept. 15, 2023, in conjunction with the exhibit "War and Manga," from the Kyoto International Manga Museum. All scholarships will be chosen by a panel of jurors from the University of Idaho and Kyoto Seika University. Students are allowed to submit up to two works and HIAS reserves the right to refuse any submission it deems inappropriate.
By submitting work to this show, students agree to have their work used in any promotional materials for HIAS and the University of Idaho. For more information, please email kyongmcclain@uidaho.edu.
