Michael Nash

Michael P. Nash is a filmmaker and an honored recipient of the 2011 Social Change Global Institute Filmmaker of the Year Award. In 2010, MovieMaker Magazine named Nash one of its Top 10 MovieMakers of the Planet. Nash has also won Senator Barbara Boxer’s 2010 Conservation Champion Award and the 2010 Neiman Marcus Visions Filmmaker Award. Nash’s current documentary, the multi-award winning “Climate Refugees,” was the only film screened by the United Nations at the 2009 Copenhagen Climate Conference for world leaders and policymakers. Nash is currently traveling with Hollywood Health and Society USC Annenberg School/WGA Showrunner’s Program, imparting environment and health issues to storytellers around the world. Previous films include “Fuel” and “Nebraska.”
