Classes and Certification

SEEP Classes

Basic Class

  • Coeur d'Alene, April 20-21- FULL
  • Sandpoint, May 12-13- FULL
  • Coeur d'Alene, May 25-26

Cost: $225

Introduction class to sediment and erosion control with a hands-on field component. Topics covered include site planning, Federal and Idaho regulations, and Best Management Practices.

All classroom portions will be held online, via Zoom, but the field session will be in-person. Attendance to all sessions required. Participants will need to arrange to pick up materials in either Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls or Sandpoint prior to class.

Level II Class

  • May 4

Cost: $125

Renew your current SEEP certification through a one-day, advanced SEEP course on stormwater and Low Impact Development BMPs. All certifications due to expire in 2020 have been extended. If you have taken and passed a SEEP class since 2017, you are eligible to take the SEEP Level II Class. Recertification is valid for three years, no exam required.

All Level II Classes will be held online via Zoom with an afternoon self-guided field tour. Registrants can participate from any location. All materials will be emailed to students prior to class.
