Understanding Business and Consumers

In the marketing program, study how packaging, advertising, branding, social media and other factors influence consumer behaviors. Explore market research tools and learn how to use marketing tools such as product, price, place, and promotion to create effective marketing strategies. Through our nationally recognized Integrated Business Curriculum, gain practical knowledge and experience in marketing as well as in management, operations, finance and other business functions.

  • American Marketing Association (AMA) Student Chapter: A national organization for students, academics and professionals. Join as early as your freshman year to learn about marketing career opportunities.
  • Mu Kappa Tau (MKT):  A national honor society that recognizes top marketing students who retain a 3.25 cumulative GPA. Membership provides many marketing career opportunities.
