Ünlü is an instructor for three senior-level and a graduate-level food science courses at the University of Idaho and Washington State University. Ünlü’s research laboratory has a food microbiology/ biotechnology focus targeting main agricultural interests, commodities (dairy, potatoes, fish) and byproducts (cheese whey, potato peel waste, fish skin/bones) in ID and WA.
