University of Idaho - I Banner

Increased entrepreneurship can foster new and creative opportunities for the revitalization of rural communities and improve the quality of life of rural residents. Current statistics show that Hispanic-owned and women-owned businesses are increasingly represented among the rural entrepreneurs and the creation of new enterprises. Therefore, our work seeks to enhance economic opportunity, and well-being of women and Hispanic entrepreneurs in rural communities through research and extension programming.
