Dan has focused on research and practice at multiple locations and scales including projects in China, Turkey, the U.S. Pacific Northwest and the Gulf Coast. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Idaho, where he has focused his efforts on developing research and pedagogical approaches on various topics such as compelling digital representation, Landscape Planning and Geodesign through GIS applications, and implementation techniques of stormwater facilities.
