Using illustrative line drawings, I depict ordinary objects. They are humble, useful tools floating together on the wall. The objects, like the ceramics and weavings they neighbor, are placeholders for the actions and routines associated with them. Weavings and ceramics are the record of repetition, handling, and reworking. The materials become useful objects and a collection of the readily available things around me.
