Arthur Olguin entered active duty in 1974 in Portland, Oregon. He attended Basic Training at Ft Jackson, South Carolina and Advance Individual Training at Ft Bliss, Texas as an Improved HAWK Missile Systems Repairman. He later went on to become a Medical Supply Specialist then became a General Supply Specialist as his career field. He served two 2 years in Pirmasens, Germany as the NCOIC of U.S. Army Medical Material Center, Europe Property Book and 3 Medical Supply and Optical Maintenance Units. He went onto become the Logistics specialists for the Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Team at 7th Medical Command, Heidelberg, Germany for 3 years before returning stateside. Other overseas assignments include Bremerhaven, Germany, Schinnen, The Netherlands, Shihung, S. Korea and Pyongtek, S.Korea.
Stateside assignments include Ft Lewis, WA., Ft. Bliss, TX. (2 times), Ft Sam Houston, TX., Ft Riley, KS., Ft Rucker, AL. and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, WA. DC. Mr Olguin has been with Army ROTC program since January 2004.
