Magazine editor Savannah Tranchell is requesting story ideas along this theme for the UI community. Employees from all colleges are encouraged to submit ideas. The student will work with the magazine editor and creative director to create a cover design to their specifications. The cover can be created in any medium, including painting, drawing, digital art, watercolors, etc., but must be able to be rendered digitally to be sent to the printer.

Nelson earned a bachelor's degree in public relations in 2011 from the School of Journalism and Mass Media. After graduation, he worked at Shari's restaurant, as a custodian for UI Facilities and in the annual giving office for University Advancement. Since January, he had worked at Boise State University. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, in the Barnwell Room of the Student Union Building at BSU.
