Tuition Rates
The primary goal of the Children's Center is to provide quality care for the children of University of Idaho students and employees. Children from the Palouse region who do not have a student or employee affiliation with U of I are also eligible, but student and employee families on the waiting list are considered first.
There is almost always a waiting list for vacancies at the Children's Center. Please note that new enrollment offers are for FULL-TIME. Full-time enrollment is Monday-Friday.

Explanation of Fees
- Half day hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and only offered in the Child Development Lab Preschool Classroom for children 3-5 years old. This option is only available as a five day classroom.
- Meals included in tuition are Breakfast - 8:30 a.m., Lunch - 11:30 a.m., and Snack - 2:30 p.m.
- Student rates are available to full-time U of I students. To be considered a full time student, you must be enrolled in 12 Undergraduate credits, 9 Graduate credits, or 10 credits for Law students.
- A current student ID is required along with an official copy of your student schedule printed off from MyUI to receive the student rate on pricing.
- Tuition is billed monthly.
