Learn More About Our Food Program

University of Idaho Children's center is a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provider. CACFP is a federally funded program administered by the USDA Food and Nutrition Services.

Through CACFP, the University of Idaho Children's Center works on providing well balances, healthy meals to all participants. Together, the classrooms work on trying new foods, family style dining, proper portion sizes, and table manners. CACFP meal pattern requirements are used to generate each weeks meal menu. The center serves three meals a day; breakfast, lunch and a snack.
